The Japanese Corporation ASICS, one of the leading manufacturers of sports equipment, has signed a new sponsorship contract with the Russian Wrestling Federation. Under the agreement, ASICS will provide the Russian national wrestling team with the equipment till 2016.

“Wrestling was and remains one of the priority sports for ASICS. Besides the Russian team, we are working with the U.S., Japanese, Iranian and Mongolian national teams - all of them are leading powers in wrestling. ASICS supports the action program of FILA to return wrestling to the Olympics 2020. We believe that the fair competition on the wrestling mat is really interesting for the audience and fully reflects the true spirit of the Olympic Games, “- said Igor Fomin, Director General of ASICS RUS.
